Cupcake! - everybody's favorite non-entity - presents its debut collection: Misanthropy As A Defense Mechanism Made up mostly of recently produced music (although three pieces go back to the turn of the century), Cuppy uses various methods to produce the same result: stylistic indecision. Savor the Sound of Self-Negation! Tracks 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6: created 2015/16. Tracks 3, 7 and 8 created approximately 2001.

An over(in my opinion)grown tree limb, guided by the wind, rubs against the window of an apartment building. A human in the apartment - annoyed and intrigued - attaches two contact microphones to the window, then spends the next few weeks processing and editing the recorded sounds. And for what? Nothing, of course, nothing. Nothing.

I heard a suspicious sound.It rattled 'round the compartment we share
where all sounds sound the same,
yet different.
Suspicious Sound's line up of artists currently consists of four individuals who bear a strong resemblance to each other, at least physically; rr.gross, Cupcake!, Suspektema, and Der Hersteller. They are members of an extremely small micro-community which congregates somewhere in the darkened caverns of Manhattan.
